Andra Day and Andi Matichak

Cassandra Monique Batie, professionally referred to as Andra day, is an American R&B singer-songwriter. She has won the Grammy Award, Children's and Family Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award are among the many accolades she has received. She was also selected for the Academy Award. Andra Day, a gifted singer-songwriter with roots in blues, gospel and gospel who has a flair for the current world. She is much not just an R&B throwback expert. Her ability to blend the influences of jazz, gospel and blues in the R&B style is quite impressive. Stand Up for Something, her 2017 contribution to Marshall's score for the film Marshall earned her the Academy Award as well as the Grammy. Amen (2019) and Then Make Your Troubles Gone Away (2021) as well as the Golden Globe award-winning portrayal as Billie Holiday for The United States vs. Billie Holiday (2017) has helped to build anticipation. Andra Day was born Cassandra Monique Batie, in Edmonds Washington. She grew up around San Diego and the metropolitan area. There she sang in churches and enrolled in the School of Creative and Performing Arts. After after graduation, she began to explore contemporary R&B, pop and jazz but found herself drawn back to the jazz and soul performers of the past. The turning point came in the form of a concert she gave was noticed by Kai Millard Morris who subsequently offered some of Day's songs to her husband Stevie Wonder. Motown famous Adrian Gurvitz then introduced Day to veteran music industry figure Adrian Gurvitz. In partnership to Gurvitz along with Jeffrey Evans' Buskin label Day built up a YouTube following and eventually signed with major-label Warner Bros. n 2012 Day released her debut single Forever Mine on YouTube. It was quickly taken up by DJs and they began playing it on the radio. She subsequently joined Warner Bros. Records and began work with the producer Adrian Gurvitz to record her debut album, Cheers to the fall (2015). It featured the hit song"Rise Up," which was an anthem to protests for social justice around all over the world. Day received two Grammy nominations, one of which was for Best R&B Album. She released The United States Vs. Billie Holiday in 2019, an album that explores the career and life of the jazz icon Billie Holiday. The United States Versus Billie Holiday is a biography of Holiday which was released in the same year. Andi Matichak is a famous American actor. Her first appearance was on television series such as 666 Park Avenue, Orange Is the New Black and Blue Bloods before making her film debut in the role of Allyson Nelson, in the film horror series Halloween and its sequels. Andi matichak is an American actor who was born in Framingham on the 3rd day of May 1994.
