Following the move, Apryl was in American Idol. However, she did not reach the top. Apryl had also auditioned for a spot in Making the Band. However, it did not go very well for her. Apryl made an appearance during Search For The Next Doll and was able to audition as a brand new participant in Pussycat Dolls. Apryl was not able to please any of the judges and was therefore not chosen. Afterward she met one of the artists who was to the stage as a backup singer. They later decided to join the original cast of Vh1's popular series Hollywood. The premiere season follows the birth and pregnancy of their daughter Megaa Omari, who was born on the same day. The second season examines Megaa's struggles with her career and personal issues while she achieves newfound success. Omarion and Apryl did not attend recording the reunion season's second installment because Omarion had been on tour. On December 7 2015 Apryl said that the couple had quit the show, and they will not return for the following season. On the 7th of March, 2016, Apryl was born to their daughter A'mei Kazuko Grandberry. Four months later Apryl and Omarion have announced their split. Apryl made an appearance as a special character in season four and was able to meet Lil' Fizz and discussing a possible B2K reunion. Apryl was back on the show for season six in which she discussed her custody fight with Omarion and the media speculation and scrutiny about her relationship with Lil' Fizz. They confess to one another that they're romantically linked and this has led Moniece as along with the other cast into conflict.
