Suzy Kolber (born Suzanne Lisa Kolber) was born in Pennsylvania, Philadelphia on May 14, 1964. Her parents are Jewish. Her age at present is at 58. Sandra Kolber, her mother has been known as. Gene Kolber, is her father. Kolber is a graduate of Upper Dublin High School in Pennsylvania as well as Sandy Run Middle School. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications at The University of Miami, in 1986. When she was a freshman in college she was offered a position with Dynamic cable in Coral Gables Florida as a Sports Director. In addition, she worked there for two years from 1984 to 1986. She was also a member of the University of Miami water skiing team in this period. In the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University she studied the film and television production. The year 2006 was the year she suffered having a stroke in her 20s she was diagnosed with expressive aphasia.
