Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is a American animal rights activist, author, model and actor. Ali MacGraw is well-known for movies such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. Her desire to be an artist was in part influenced from her childhood within a New York family of artists. She started as a photographic assistant, before progressing to modeling and acting. MacGraw was awarded her Golden Globe Award, for the most promising young talent. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story was an international smash, and earned her an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. In just three films, she was voted the Top female debut at the box office worldwide. The Grauman's Chinese Theater signed her name as well as foot prints, hand prints, and footprints in the year 1972. She was a part of several other movies, including The Getaway Convoy Players and the miniseries on TV The Winds of War among many others. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw was divorced three times.
